Pricey, but awesome! I convinced my husband to let me buy this a year ago for our then-16 month old. It was AWESOME...the two times I was able to use it before finding out I was pregnant. Now that I have two children, I love that I can carry both of them (@ separate times) in the same carrier! I made sure to have the instruction booklet handy the first few times I used it, as it can be a bit confusing if you are accustomed to a different style carrier. A year later, my husband still looks at the directions every time he puts our 6 month old in the Ergo! Seeking directions...very atypical of a man! ;O) Posted on 12/2/11 by Maryellen

Lightweight and worth the price! I love this carrier. I used to have the organic/original Ergo but I found that one a bit too bulky for my taste. I love the Performance because its much lighter, the fabric is perfect for warm weather, and I like that the hood can be hidden in the zipper when not in use. Posted on 2/8/11 by Janice

You get what you pay for! While the price was overwhelming given comparisons to other carriers in the field, I convinced my husband to buy this carrier for our second child. While the new addition isn't here yet, he & I have both carried our 18 month old in the ERGO performance. The carrier is super light and seems very durable. Our daughter looks and acts very comfortable while riding. The instruction booklet is a bit overwhelming! I definitely practiced fastening the carrier before ever putting my child in it!
