About the diapers:
The GroVia one-size diaper is a revolution in cloth diapering. Innovative shell design minimizes diaper waste and cost.

When your soaker pad is wet, simply snap in a fresh soaker pad. Use Change outer shell twice a day and inner as needed.
Washing
Organic cotton inners must be washed/dried on hot 3 times prior to first use and WILL NOT reach it's full absorbency until approximately 6-8 washes.
- Wash hot, tumble dry before use
- Remove as much solid matter as possible.
- Place soiled soaker pads in a dry diaper pail - no soaking is necessary.
- Wash every 2 days.
- Start with a cold rinse.
- Wash in hot water with half the amount of recommended detergent (depends on detergent).
- Do an extra rinse if desired.
- Tumble dry or hang outside for extra freshness and to remove stains.
- Do NOT use bleach, enzyme cleaners or fabric softeners.
About the bio-soakers:
Super Soft Lining Certified natural, 100% Ingeo spunbound non-woven fabric. Compostable to EN13432 (EU) standard and ASTM D 6400 (USA) Core Biodegradable Wood Pulp fibers, contains 3 grams of SAP gel (compared to 10-20 grams in other disposables). Waterproof Outer The Bio-Film used (fecula) is waterproof and 100% natural. Compostable to the following standard: EN 13432 (EU) Use Made for use with the GroVia system. How to dispose of your biodegradable soaker pads:
Compost Remove any solid matter and compost in your garden. Compostable to EU and USA composting standards.
Dispose Biodegradable soaker pads are plastic-free, they will break down in a landfill in 50-150 days (Disposables take up to 500 years).
Flush You can flush your soaker pads. Simply tear open your pad and empty the core contents into the toilet. Throw outer away.

Love it!
I simply love these diapers and the fact that they snap in makes cloth diapering super easy. It's also fantastic that you can use disposable liners that are green for the earth. My only problem is that even w/ a booster they still leak if your little one sleeps through the night.

Good starter diaper
I started cloth diapering my 5 month old with this diaper, and haven't looked back. I love how easy it is to snap in and out liners whenever they are wet. The shells are easy to clean and dry fast. The liners do take at least 2 cycles in my dryer. Sometimes I do three to make sure. But it does absorb a lot of urine. I also have a rather large baby and the naps fit him wonderfully. If you are testing the water on cloth- try these! For easy changes I suggest unsapping the diaper- wipe while you lift the legs, then unsnap the liner and quickly replace.

Consider having 16 shells - not for newborn
We had other brand of cloth diaper for the first one and we had only 12 shells and 12 pads. That wasn’t enough. This time we also bought the full package (12 shells and 24 pads) so we are not rushed to do laundry every day.
These diapers are well made, well designed with high quality material. However, the one size fit all doesn’t fit all. It doesn’t fit 7 pounds newborns. They are too large occasioning leaks, which was a mess. They also go to high and rub against the umbilical cord. We had to go with disposable newborn diapers (which have a notch for the belly button) until baby grows a little bit.

LOVE the new GroVia!
This is a great way to start building your GroVia stash. The shells are super soft waterproof TPU outer. Much softer than any other I've felt. They are adjustable for most babies and they are the most trim cover/insert combination I have ever used. The new TPU backed soaker pads mean you can reuse these without worrying the liner in the shell will get wet and stinky. Buy these! You will be glad you did and you'll be back for more!

Great intro
This was a perfect size set to start with hybrid diapers. We get this as a gift now for friends considering cloth since it is enough to cloth diaper days for a older child if you don't mind washing every night.

You won't be disapointed!
I absolutely LOVE Gro Baby diapers...it so great being able to reuse the cover and the fit is great for us. I prefer the apix b/c my guy is skinny so we can get a tight fit.
