very absorbent but not very comfortable I have several of these, and although I love how absorbent they are, they are very scratchy. I don't like to put them against my baby's bottom (especially after they have been line-dried!) so I use them as an extra liner at night-time, sandwiched in between some softer hemp liners. Love the new material! We have a 3 month old and have been using diapers since she was born. When we first bought the GroVia Soaker Pads they were made in cotton and also in terry cloth. I like the jersey material better because it dries nicer and cleans off easier. The only down fall to the pads are that they don't quite cover on the sides and the covers then have to be washed. Soakers I love these soakers. The best part is you can change them out and still use the cover as long as it is not soiled. I also like that they clean very well. The only thing is they take awhile to dry. I guess this is because they are so absorbant. Posted on 5/10/11 by kaci

Love the absorbancy and waterproof back! These are trim, easy to switch out and keep your hands clean, and really absorb a lot. I'm impressed. Great Improvements The improvements on this soaker over the old style GroBaby ones are awesome! The waterproof backing (PUL) makes it easier to switch inserts without having to dry the shell between uses and the gussets are a great feature too (although my son is past the blowout stage I think these would be great for that).
