Good for food I have found more of a use for these trays for storing my homemade baby food than milk. Using the storage bags that lay flat seem to work better for space. I do love that each section in the tray is one ounce. The lid is nice and helps when trying to stack them in an already full freezer. Lid fits great, no spills! We really like these ice cube trays for storing my daughters homemade food, especially when we first started introducing her to solids and mixed food with breastmilk. The lid is nice and tight and doesn't leak. Also, it's easy to remove after removing from the freezer. We wash ours by hand and don't put them in the dishwasher. Posted on 11/10/11 by Shawn

Good for baby food and toddler snacks I used these to hold my home made baby food when my son was still eating purees. He is almost 2 now and I use them to hold his finger foods- I fill the different little cubes up with different things (O cereal, raisins, trail mix, cheese) it makes eating a bit more interesting for him ! Easy to make your own baby food! This made it so easy to make your own baby food. I would do a batch, freeze it, the pop it out and seal it in ziplocs, label it... easy. Then I the next day I would do it all over again. I don't think I could have done it without these trays. If you use an ice cube tray... they get freezer burn... ick! Posted on 1/19/11 by kakes005

Perfect size for early solid I have these trays and the Beaba Multiportion and like them both. These are the perfect size for early solids, allow me to mix-and-match some different foods for Baby in the same meal, and the small cube size means very little thawing time.
