Hemp/Organic Cotton Insert consists of 5 layers of hemp/Certified Organic cotton topped with a soft layer of hemp/Certified Organic cotton fleece. This insert is so trim you will be able to have your baby wear jeans again! Please note that hemp inserts will shrink slightly during first washings making them consistent with the other insert sizing.

These inserts are great for my heavy wetting toddler. He can wear one by itself and stay leak free for hours. For overnight use I snap a overnight hemp doubler and that combination is bulletproof! Hemp is my favorite cloth diapering material and these inners are definitely worth the money!

Much softer than other hemp inserts I've felt. It's not cushy like the microfiber, but soft enough to be on my baby. I like pairing this with different fiber inserts for early morning big pee time.

We love these liners! The liners are super absorbent and are very soft. We washed and dried ours at least 5 times before use. No leaks and the LO is a heavy wetter. Love this product.

I bought two of these to add as boosters for my grovia hybrid but instead ended up using to replace the microfiber inserts to my bumgenius. My son is a heavy wetter so I have to use both microfiber inserts in his diapers but I can use just one of these hemp inserts and no leaks. Definitely going to replace all my microfiber with these.

I really like these for use in my Best Bottoms covers. I tried using them in other covers (mostly Flips) and wasn't impressed. I have used other inserts in my Best Bottoms covers successfully though! The hemp ones are our favorite because they have lasted the longest while still be super absorbent. The 'stay-dry' ones lost absorbency starting around 8 months of use and we stopped using those and switched to hemp after about a year because the microfiber wasn't absorbing anymore. Overall, the hemp ones are great and work great for us!

These are a great soft, absorbent, and natural option. I love the ease of snapping in the inserts now that my son is much more "active" during diaper changes and prefolds are so much more difficult.

I love the whole aspect of Best Bottoms. And the covers are fantastic. But I wish I only invested in the mediums and large inserts. The small doesn't cover the whole inside area where my baby poops. So I end up unable to use the cover more than once. But! I will say I love the hemp much more than the stay dry. The material in general doesn't feel so harsh. I put the stay dry doubler under the hemp and that worked amazing for night time wetness. And nothing so far has beaten the trimmed of these diapers compared to pockets and all in ones and even prefolds.

I started my stash with all Flips before I found best bottoms and although I still love my Flips, I prefer the best bottoms stay dry insert over the Flip stay dry insert. It is fluffier, more absorbent, softer and I love the contour. The Flip inserts get a little thin and pilly over time and I have occasional leaks with them. I've never had a leak in a best bottom and the snaps are so convenient. They also fit great in thirsties covers!

I ordered one of these to try alongside my stay dry inserts. I was surprised at the thinness, but it holds just as much liquid. They do bunch a little in the diaper, take forever to dry and wrinkle up over time but such is the nature of hemp. I have never had an ammonia or stink issue with them and they are as thin as a disposable diaper.

Best Bottom hemp insets are our favorite every-day pods. They are thin and very absorbent. We use them in BB shells as well as Rumparooz pockets, and they work great in both. Spend the extra money for the hemp. It is totally worth it to avoid ammonia burns, stink build ups and bulky diapers.

I bought one of these inserts and one of the covers to try before I went all in and I thought I was happy with everything, but I am really bummed that these shrivel a little after you wash and dry them. I should have known better because they are cotton/hemp, they would do that! I loved how they were flat (before washing) and that is the reason I went with the Best Bottom AI2 instead of the GroVia system because the GroVia inserts are kind of bunchy and pinch my son's nether regions (ouch!). And my son is a super heavy wetter, so these on their own have to be changed quite often. I am using a cotton/hemp doubler and sometimes use the overnight insert with these and they last longer. I love that these are natural material and that they are so easy and convenient, though!

I got the cover and both the stay dry and the cotton I step to decide what I liked before making a big investment. I like all of them! The cover is cute and functions really well. I haven't had a leak yet. There were no prepping instructions that I could find for the inserts, so I treated them like the grovia inserts and washed them and dried them several times before the first use. The cotton insert is super soft, and trim. I have felt the absorbency is great, no leaks yet! The insert also dries really well compared to some others.
