Flip Potty Trainer

Flip Potty Trainers are a unique pull-up, pull-down, snap-off, one-size potty training system made with replaceable one-size pads. The outer shell is made of PUL and has detachable tabs made of the same stretchy material we use for the tabs on all Flip and bumGenius products. The tabs attach with snaps. The replaceable one-size soakers are made of six layers of organic cotton jersey (the same fabric used to make Flip organic cotton inserts). The soakers attach to the shell using ultra-soft loop fabric.

Each Flip Potty Training Pack includes a one-size cover, your choice of color, and three one-size organic pads.

Design by experienced potty training parents means usable, cost-effective products for you!

Flip Features:

  • A waterproof shell, so no extra cover is needed.
  • Wipe the inside of the cover out and use it over and over again!
  • Form fitting elastic to prevent leaks.
  • Stay put, feel wet pad for easier learning.
  • Disposable inserts are also available for use while traveling.
  • Patent pending 3x3 adjustable snap system to fit most 18months-4T (approximately20-50lbs)
  • Colorful interchangeable tabs allow for almost 200 potential looks.

The replaceable, removable Flip™ inner pad made with ultra-absorbent organic cotton allows wet accidents to be changed without a whole new trainer, this feature is unique to Flip Trainers and translates into significant savings.

We recommend using a Flip disposable insert with the Flip organic cotton potty training pad for overnight. Disposable inserts sold separately.

These would work best for a child that is almost nearly potty trained. Review by Cindy
Unfortunately my daughter has been resistant to potty training and when she wets these she pees so much that she leaks out. Sadly we ended up having to switch to using disposable pull ups because she was wetting her clothes everyday at daycare. (Posted on 8/1/2016)
Good trainers ONLY for accidents! Review by MommaOf4Angels
These trainers are great for when your child is already mostly potty trained. They don't hold very much besides the occasion small accident. I also don't like the inserts very much. They stain REALLY easily if pooped in and are almost impossible to get the staining out. I do like how they made my child feel the wetness so she didn't want to go in her training pants. We didn't use them for very long but planning to try them again with the next baby to potty train next year (Posted on 5/1/2016)
Didn't work for us Review by Katherine
These appear to be really high quality and I thought we would love them but we don't. I love flip covers but the trainers didn't work out. The side panels irritated my daughter's skin and the inserts were always getting bunched up. I like the grovia trainers, and had some luck with the Super Undies, but no trainers at all (wearing panties or nothing at all) seemed to work best for my daughters! (Posted on 8/21/2015)
Not Working Out Review by Adwoa
I bought these after doing lots of research and using the Flip diaper on my four month old. I thought these would be a great transition from diapers to pull ups. The price is great but my daughter isn't digging them. The fit is off. Either the shell is too loose or too tight. The inserts are not wide enough to hold anything, so I use my baby's Flip diaper inserts which fit the entire shell. Also, if you pull them up the insert immediately pulls from the Velcro. So the Velcro is a waste. I'm going to try them once and a while to see if maybe my daughter will grow into them but I will start looking for a better pull up. (Posted on 7/4/2015)
Does the job Review by Lenita
I like the cover because it can be worn by a child up to 50lbs since my daughter is 35lbs and is already too big for most cloth diapers and trainers. She is almost 4years old and has been potty trained for quite some time, but still needs overnight coverage. The insert that comes with this is too narrow and shifts through the night, causing terrible leakage. Instead, I use my Bumgenius and baby kicks inserts. They are wider and more absorbent and fit nicely in the training pants. (Posted on 11/15/2014)
One of our top picks Review by Cassie
The Flip training system is one of my top three choices for trainers for my kids. I like the shell and the side panels. I do wish the inserts were a wee bit wider and a strong (different?) aplix attachment strip as I find ours scootch a bit, those things aside, we often grab for our flip trainers first (Posted on 8/31/2014)
Little pricey Review by Lindsay
I do like these trainers and the snap sides for messy accidents. I do wish they were a little cheaper. They fit snug on my large 'thunder thighs' daughter, but looking forward to putting them on my skinny son. (Posted on 6/26/2014)
I wanted to love them... Review by sarah
I wanted to love these because I love the ease of the flip system, but we found the cheep cotton pull ons with a sewn in soaker worked best for us. My son will tell us he "needs to go poop" in the cotton underpants, but the flip trainers remind him of his diapers and he just goes in them. We started using these after my son had already been potty training for a while, so that may have contributed to our problem. He associates these with the diapers he used to use, while the cotton underpants are more like big boy underwear. We do still use these when we go out to the grocery store or to visit because they keep have the PUL to protect his clothes. He also has a harder time pulling them up and down. For a child in daycare or on the go, these would probably be great though. (Posted on 2/14/2014)
flips are best! Review by LAURA
flips are simply the best. being able to use them multiple times and stuff them with just about anything makes them the best choice for cloth diapering on a budget! (Posted on 12/13/2013)
They work great! Review by Tess
This was my first cloth diaper i ever tried and they work great! The inserts are very soft and absorbent!! Great for toddlers! (Posted on 7/7/2012)
Great Product! Review by Sara
I have one shell and 3 inserts for my 2 year old daughter. We use this when we are out and about if I am worried about putting her in underwear. She does not see this as a diaper and can easily pull it on and off. She has also worn it all night and one liner was fine. (Posted on 7/5/2012)
