Count me as one of the people who couldn't get these to work at first, because I didn't read the directions. You need to pinch the silicone insert before the first use in order to open it. I love how these work with the glass bottles to control the flow of the liquid. I don't have to worry about a separate lid to make sure they don't spill. I just tighten the cap all the way and it shuts off the liquid. So easy for traveling! Very happy with this purchase.

I tired this on my grandbaby recently. I could not get any fluid to come out no matter how loose I made the cap or how hard I sucked on it. I got very frustrated and know why she was too. I've only tried it once, so I will try again and see if I have different results. If the product works, then this is a great invention. If not, oh well.

Now, I love the bottles these fit, I love the versatility, but these lids do have some issues. First of all, you have to pinch the insert before first use. I remembered on the first one and forgot by the time I used the second. I haven't had leaking issues with them (unless you don't use the provided insert), but we have had some problems with them not letting anything out with the insert in. We noticed that depending on how tight or loose you screw on the cap determines the flow of the bottle. If you put it on too tight or your kiddo throws it and it tightens, the lid won't let out any liquid. We just try to not put it on too tight, just enough that it doesn't leak or fall off.

We love our LifeFactory bottles. This is a great adapter to extend the use of our bottles. Unfortunately, our toddler preferred other sippy cups and tops over these sippies, but we occasionally use them. We still love, love, love all of our LifeFactory products.

I love that all my bottles are now sippies with this product. My toddler drops them constantly onto our tile floor and they have never broken. The very first time I used them nothing came out, but all I had to do was squeeze the silicon insert part to make sure that the opening was not stuck and it was never a problem after that. How tight you screw on the lid determines how fast it comes out, so if nothing is coming out you may have just over tightened it.

They first time it was used, my toddler dropped in the parking lot and the plastic sippy cap cracked and split. Breaks a bit too easily. The attachment seal that comes with it to fit under the cap to seal from water leaking when not used is very confusing and doesn't work to let the water out. It does keep water from leaking, but when the cap is screwed on normally and I as an adult try to get water, it's sealed too tight.
