Lil Joey - 2 Pack

The Lil Joeys make a great addition to any newborn stash. The Lil•Joey will fit your preemie or multiples starting at 4 lbs. Although the Rumparooz One Size Diaper will fit a newborn at 6 lbs, other one size diaper brands do not start fitting until closer to 10-12 lbs, that is about 2 mo. The Lil Joey will fill the diaper gap so that your precious newborn does not have to spend one day in a disposable diaper with chemicals against their precious porcelain skin.

Lil Joey Newborn AIO's - 2 Packs

Kanga Care brand cloth diapers are the ONLY cloth diapers on the market that have been uniquely designed to contain the messiest of messes. The inside of each diaper is designed with 2 gentle internal gussets that channel each leg. No chance of escape for even the messiest or messes! Keep that cute outfit clean!

The Lil Joey is an AIO (all in one diaper) with a sewn in soaker, no pocket. This specialty diaper was designed to fill the gap between a newborn size and other brands of one size diapers. The Lil Joey fits babies 4-12 lbs. The Rumparooz One Size Diaper will fit a newborn starting at 6 lbs, but other brands of one size diapers will not fit until 10-12 lbs. The Lil Joey has a snap down center for easy umbilical care and comfort. The Lil Joey is a 2 size or "grow with me" diaper as it has shorter rise setting in the snapped down position and then higher rise settings in the unsnapped position.

Lil Joey Biodegradability:

The waterproof material Kanga Care uses on the Rumparooz, Lil Joey (and any other waterproof products) is TPU, not PUL. PUL is a polyester fabric that has been laminated with a poly-urethane laminate using a solvent and chemical process. This process off-gases harmful toxic fumes that destroy the building that the fabric is produced in. In 2008 Kanga Care started using a biodegradable TPU waterproof material. Biodegradable TPU is solvent-free. Biodegradable TPU is a polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment. Both the TPU laminate and the polyester fabric the laminate is applied to are biodegradable. When composted they will biodegrade in 4-5 years.

Perfect for our tiny little dude Review by Michelle

Our son was 6 pounds when he was born and was way too tiny for all of the newborn covers/ prefolds that we had bought for him. We knew we were going to eventually have more children, so we invested in a Lil Joey stash and loved them! They fit my tiny son perfectly, washed easily, and I loved the snap down for the umbilical cord. (Posted on 2/7/2014)
Not worth the money Review by Alesha

I would not buy these at full price. They are not tiny enough for "lil babies" I had twins at 5lb 10oz and 5lb 12oz. I had to wait till 3 weeks for them to even fit them bulkily. They work fine for only about 7-9 lbs.Sorry but for having to button them inside out when washing, (poo stays in the gussets, they DO work well) and how little wear they will get, they are not a wise use of cash. I still love the idea of them and the whole product line but these were my biggest "well shoot" moment. (Posted on 2/7/2014)

This cloth diaper is extremely soft, perfect for cloth diapering your newborn. The fact that the diaper thinks of the umbilical cord is awesome! The gussets put my mind at ease too! (Posted on 2/7/2014)

Best diaper for newborns Review by Jenn

I love these diapers for newborns. They are cute, absorbent and the pull down tab for the belly button is so handy. When I first came into cloth diapering I was really nervous about the belly button, and once I saw these I stocked up and have loved them ever since! (Posted on 2/7/2014)

Highly recommend for any mama considering cloth diapering! This was my first time trying it and these are SO easy! My son was born 7 lbs and these were the perfect size (the OS Rumparooz and Grovias were way too big!), in fact he is now 11 lbs at 2 months old and still wearing them! (Posted on 2/7/2014)

I got this in the kangaroo print and I thought it was adorable!! I loved how absorbent they were and I loved the double gussets. They seemed to be very durable. I wish that they were a little cheaper like the BG newborn but they do have the umbilical cord snap so I guess I understand. I will definitely buy more for my stash when I have another baby!! Favorite Newborn Diaper Review by Mandy

These were by far our favorite newborn diaper. They were adorable and fit great. Our son was about 7 lbs. He outgrew the absorbency long before the fit, unfortunately. I was disappointed that by about 3 weeks he could wet straight through the diaper every time. We kept using them for awhile, but he really needed increased absorbency. The gussets were great and we had zero diaper rash when using cloth. We also had no blowouts with these. If my son wasn't such a heavy wetter these would have been 5 stars for us. WAY better than disposables Review by MelB

I had a c-section so my husband did all the hospital diapering with their supplied disposables. When we got home we starting using these Lil' Joey AIO diapers. My husband promptly said how much he liked them. We've never done anything but put them on, take them off, tossed the whole dirty bucket full in the washer and start over. Never rinsed them, wiped them, etc. Just wear, wash, repeat. They came clean from that early meconium and all the liquipoo since. They're great. We really love the "channel" in the center that contains the mess and keeps it tidy on his little bottom as well as in the diaper, makes clean up easy. Our little boy is now 2.5 months but probably well over 15 lbs and 24"+ but he's just now getting too big for them. My husband was shocked how many diaper changes there are in a day and is so pleased we're not just throwing money in the trash especially considering the resale value! (Posted on 2/7/2014)
Our favorite newborn diaper Review by Tracy

We've been using these about 2 weeks on our newborn. He came home at 6 lbs, 3 oz and is now closing in on 8. This diaper is by far our favorite so far (We're also using Grovia newborns, a Thirsties and a Kissa's). The fit is good and compact. Our doctor was surprised to see a cloth diaper that fit a newborn ("They usually swim in these," she said.) We've had one leak with a heavy wetting, but no other problems. My husband especially likes the fold-down buttons for the umbilical cord. Because we were expecting an 8-pounder initially, we had hesitated to buy newborn diapers, but we're so glad we invested in these. (Posted on 2/7/2014)
They get so tiny! Review by Mary

These newborn diapers get really, really tiny. They're great if you have a newborn, but if you have bigger babies, your child will probably grow out of them quickly. (Posted on 2/7/2014)
Great product but less use than one size! Review by Nichole

Being a first time Mom, I had to be ready for my cloth diapering experience. I invested in about 24 LiL Joey newborn cloth diapers so I could hopefully get through two days before laundry. First problem I ran into was that even though he was 8lb 3oz at birth he dropped to 7lb 6oz first few days due to breastfeeding. These state they fit at 6lbs but his legs were so chicken skinny the diaper was huge on him. I mean ridiculously huge. Once he got back up to the 8lb mark they were working perfectly though. I was all too sad when he hit about 11lbs and he started peeing too much and leaks were happening on the sides. I love the cord snap down and the fit on these. I am keeping them for my next child and probably buying more at that time as well. They were super easy being all in ones with nothing to insert and easy to clean and hang to dry. The price may seem scary at about $15 each when broken down from the 2pk but the one size did not even start fitting him properly until the 11lb mark even though they say they start at about 8lbs! It will vary on how soon you want to cloth diaper but my child sleeps better at night in cloth than in any disposable. (Posted on 2/7/2014)
