great AIO Review by Jen

I love this diaper. It is so easy to use, fits my babe perfectly and the organic cotton is the softest out of the BG line. I have used these on my daughter since she was about 10 weeks old and they are still holding up nicely on her now that she is 16 month! (Posted on 5/3/2016)
Not great Review by Sonj

I really wanted to like this diaper and the organic cotton interior appealed to me most. The absorbency just isn't what I need, and adding layers just made the diaper super bulky. Line drying this diaper takes the longest of anything in my stash and it seems more prone to staining than any of my other diapers. i was trying to find an all in one that worked as well as my pockets but could streamline my laundry routine, but sadly this wasn't the one. Really wide between legs!! Review by MommaOf4Angels

I wanted to love this new style of elemental but after using a couple different ones on my baby I just do not like how wide they are between the legs. They are almost a full 2 inches wider than the freetimes! My son gets really chafed on his inner thighs everytime we use these even if I put powder on him! I wish they would bring back the old style Elementals because those are our favorite diapers!! Overall, I would recommend BumGenius diapers but not this style. Their 4.0s, 5.0s, Freerimes, and Flips are all great diapers at a great value. But the Elementals are not IMO. (Posted on 5/1/2016)
Pretty good Review by Carla

I like that the organic cotton is next to my baby's skin. These are easy to use. They do take a bit longer to dry, but I find that if I hang dry and try to separate the lining they dry overnight. We've had success using these as overnight diapers with an extra hemp insert. (Posted on 4/12/2016)
Great product! Review by Chelsea

These feel great and are very absorbent. They fit when my twins were around 8 pounds and we haven't had a leak or a blow out yet (they are 7 weeks old). These make up the majority of my cloth diaper stash. They are still a little bulky on my little ones, but they still fit under their clothes without going up a size. They were worth the cost so far. Great diaper for daycare/daddy to use! Review by Katherine

I really like Flips better, because the Elementals take so long to dry (and I worry that they are wearing out faster spending so much more time wet/drying), but these are much easier to use than Flips. The inserts are sewn-in, so no stuffing or pinning, and the inserts are cotton so they last longer than freetimes (in my experience). The cotton does get holes after 12months+ of use, but it still absorbs great even with the holes. The PUL has held up for us so far (going on 15 months of use), but we haven't used them through multiple kids so I don't know if they will last as long as my Flips. (Posted on 8/13/2015)
Trim! Review by Amanda

Love love love how trim this is! What I don't love is trying to spray poop out of the layers or cheap elastics on bum genius. If they can fix their quality issues they might have me as a customer with these. Trim and absorbent is hard to find and these dry easily for us with one cycle in the dryer. Simplicity of no stuffing is also a plus at our house. :-) (Posted on 8/2/2015)
Not my favorites, at all Review by Tanya

I love that BGs are made in the USA. The prints are adorable.

However, the elastics are weak. Also, the Elementals take FOREVER to dry. I hang dry all of my AIOs and shells. These diapers take the longest to dry out of every diaper I have, except for my fitteds, which was to be expected.

Not a fan Review by Betsy

I really wanted to like this diaper. It seemed so easy, especially for a Newbie like me. However, contrary to most of the reviews, the diaper was very ill-fitted on my son. No matter which rise we had it adjusted to, it never seemed a good fit. It was very bulky from the get go and once he peed the layers bunched even more and did not stay spread between his legs. I had leaks on each rise setting. (He's 11w, 15#, 25". It's worth mentioning he fits much better in BG Freetime and 4.0. No leaks once sized correctly.) Cleaning with a diaper sprayer always proved a challenge, perhaps bc of the bad fit but EBF poo always seemed to get in-between the two absorbent layers and puddle in the PUL. Needless to say, using a diaper sprayer proved a bit challenging trying to get in between all the layers one handed. Dry time was not as exaggerated as claimed, however I line dried in the dead of summer and didn't plan on using until the next day. I'm sure in winter or inside it would take longer. Not my favorite from the TGN Trial package but worth the try. (Posted on 7/15/2015)
Overrated AIO Review by Elisa

The elastics on BG products are notoriously crappy, and these are no exception. At the end of a year of using 5 of these in a decent size rotation the elastics were pretty relaxed. The crotch size is too wide, the design of the snaps makes wing droop very common, and the fabric stains so easily. Not impressed. (Posted on 6/30/2015)
My new updated review! Review by Julie

I had written a few weeks back that I wished I could love this diaper. Well now I do! I believe I hadn't washed it enough to get the organic material up to par for absorption like most organic materials because now it works great. I also love the materials much more than the freetime and 4.0. It just seems less hot than the other styles and more trim. Much softer too! I am going to save up for some more! (Posted on 5/30/2015)

I can get a great fit on this diaper, and it's pretty absorbent and holds quite a bit after being prepped. It's not my favorite diaper in my stash, but it's one I like to keep for dad or pack for babysitters. I really like the vibrant colors too. (Posted on 5/4/2015)
I want to love this diaper Review by Julie

I love the materials for this diaper. And I love that it's organic. But there is something about the design of the inserts inside that I have issues with. It doesn't absorb as well as freetime or 4.0. It might be because it's organic and takes awhile to reach its maximum absorption. I hope so because I'd totally buy more. (Posted on 4/27/2015)
Wonderful Daytime Diaper Review by Lauren

I love the new elementals for their trimness, but prefer the unencased elastics of the old elementals, plus I can go a bit longer between changes with the old elementals. That being said, these make great daytime diapers. They fit nicely under clothes and are convenient while out. Definitely not a nighttime diaper. Ok for naps if a doubler is added. I ordered this in Jolly and I absolutely love the color! (Posted on 3/29/2015)
Not bad Review by Melissa

While I loved the trimness, this couldn't hold up to an average wetter at 3 mo old without a bamboo doubler. I think it is too pricey for what you are getting and it seemed to stain worse than other types. I do like the natural fibers and fit, though. (Posted on 12/17/2014)
Surprisingly nice! Review by Ryann

I bought this diaper in the Martin print. My 18month old is a tummy-sleeper and a VERY HEAVY wetter, but is very long and skinny. I didn't like the new "all in one" design at first, but it's starting to grow on me. I've learned how to add extra hemp inserts for long naps. washing is a breeze, but they take forever to dry in our house. The print is adorable, though! This is a great "non-bedtime" diaper. Bunched in the middle Review by Nicole

I'm not sure why they removed the fluff and exposed the PUL with the new design. Often times, the middle will bunch and leave the PUL up against the baby's bum. Not very comfy to me! (Posted on 12/2/2014)
Wonderful for Daytime and Long Trips Review by Kayla

I have recently been able to use this with my infant. These are nice and trim compared to the OBGEs. She has wet through them a couple of times during the night but adding an insert is something that can be easily done with this new style elementals. (Posted on 10/20/2014)
Not as good as OBGEs Review by Helen

I love the organic cotton that CB uses in their Flip organic inserts and their Elementals. Yes it does stain easily. But it is a diaper, who cares if it is stained? I don't. If it is clean, I don't care if it has stains. If I am selling, I will lemon juice and sun them then.

That being said, these new Elementals are just not as nice as the old, original Elementals. I tried these and I am just not impressed. It is not any better than a Flip organic insert in a Flip cover. Both have exposed PUL, both have the cased elastics. It is worse because your cotton is attached to your PUL, so you can't dry it in the dryer, and you can't reuse your cover. For the price, I'd go with the Flips.

Trim and convenient Review by Winona

These are really great diapers (but expensive)! They are very trim and quite absorbent. The cotton inners bunch between the legs and, because the elastics are not encased in cotton, there is a good deal of skin-to-pul contact on the legs. These are also on the large side (crotch is wide, rise is longer than other bumGenuis diapers or Grovia). (Posted on 8/18/2014)
