Nosefrida Nasal Aspirator

  • It’s smart.
  • It’s Swedish.
  • It’s maybe a little strange.
  • It’s doctor invented & recommended.
  • It’s 100% hygienic due to the included filters (4).
  • It’s fabulously reviewed (Rachel Ray, Parenting, & more).
  • It’s a nasal aspirator that ACTUALLY WORKS!
  • It’s NoseFrida.  The Snotsucker.

  • The disposable filter should be in place to prevent mucus or bacterial transfer.
  • Place the large tube against the child’s nostril, creating a seal.
  • Use the red mouthpiece to SUCK out the snot. TIPS: Move the tube in a circular motion against the nostril – you will hear and see the mucus coming out of the nose. A few drops of saline solution in each nostril will help loosen thick mucus before using Nosefrida.
  • To clean, detach all of the pieces, and dispose of the filter. All pieces EXCEPT for the long thin tube should be cleaned with hot water and dish soap (they are also top-rack dishwasher safe). The long thin tube should be cleaned with a few drops of rubbing alcohol and shaken out to dry.

  • NoseFrida is not a toy – keep all parts out of reach of children.
  • Only use NoseFrida for nasal aspiration.
  • Do not blow air into the red mouthpiece while tube is placed at child’s nostril.
  • Never attached NoseFrida to a machine.

Why is NoseFrida better than other aspirators?

NoseFrida is non-invasive – instead of going inside the nose like the bulb, it forms a seal with the outside of the baby’s nostril (creating a vacuum). Parent-powered (mouth) suction is much stronger and more effective than the static suction of the bulb or battery-powered aspirators. NoseFrida is also easy to clean.

Will Nosefrida make me sick?

No. Clinical studies have proven that the hygiene filter prevents mucus and bacterial transfer from child to user.

Can I suck too hard?

No. NoseFrida is safe to use on newborns and preemies.  There is no risk of sucking too hard.

Is NoseFrida made of safe materials?

Yes, NoseFrida is made of non-allergenic, latex-free, BPA-free, and phthalate-free polypropylene.  It is manufactured in environmentally-conscious Sweden.

I took the tube apart for washing and now it won’t stay attached.

The tube must be pushed firmly until you hear it snap into place. There is a groove inside that holds the pieces together.

Does NoseFrida the Snotsucker come with filters?

Yes, it includes 4 filters – 1 pre-loaded and 3 extras

It works great! Review by Laura
It sounds a bit gross but this thing saved us so many times in the early days of parenting! My son had a stuffy nose a lot and since we are trying to have less waste in our lives the bulb syringes (which are one time use because you can't clean them) were not an option for us. It's not easy to get an infant to cooperate with this if you don't have an extra pair of hands but I found that if you lay the baby on the floor or bed and wrap your legs around its body with your (clean) feet holding the babies head you then have both hands to use the nose sucker which helps. It's not ideal but if you are alone it works. Buy extra filters while you are at it! (Posted on 6/21/2016)
Good product Review by Tanya
I just couldn't get behind using the Nose Frieda. Eeek! My husband used it a few times, but, with a squirmy baby, it was just easier to use the bulb syringe. So many people I know love and swear by this. But, it's just a personal preference for me to use the bulb! (Posted on 6/14/2016)
Must have for any parent! Review by Ashley M
I absolutely love the nose frida! I have used this on my daughter since she was 2 mo old. It works so much better than the bulb syringe. You don't ever have to worry about boogies getting in your mouth because of the filter and on a side not my child has never had enough snot to fill up the canister to even get to the filter! If your little one is contested then this is the product for you! (Posted on 1/11/2016)
Medicine cabinet must have Review by Amber
When your littles are sick with a cold this is definitely something that you want to have on hand. It pulls that junk out that they are too little to blow out on their own. I think that it is helpful for staving off sinus infections. Easy to use and easy to clean. It works! (Posted on 1/14/2015)
Must have baby shower gift! Review by Darcy
Bulb syringe, never again! Once you get over the fear of ending up with a mouth full of your child's snot you'll never use anything again. This works amazing and really helps unblock your poor stuffy baby (Posted on 5/26/2014)
A MUST have! Review by Cathy
We love the bulbs that the hospital gives out, but they are a pain to clean! Also, because you can't see what's inside, there could be mold growing. The nosefrida is a lifesaver when my children are sick. The thought is gross, but it works really well. It gets the mucus out so your child can breathe. (Posted on 3/8/2014)
Thought is gross but product is genius! Review by Nichole
I shook my head at getting this product for quite some time but finally caved when my own child was so congested and snot filled that he could not sleep. The thought of sucking boogers out was mortifying. Once you realize you are not getting the snot anywhere near your mouth just using your suction power, it becomes a power trip to be the best in the house full of mouth power to help the baby into a soothing state. Worth every penny and disposable filters make it more sanitary than the bulbs that harbor gross things inside! (Posted on 2/18/2014)
perfect for little ones! Review by LAURA
this is a much better option than the "blue ball booger suckers" from the hospital :) our little one reacted so well to this and it helped her congestion considerably. (Posted on 12/9/2013)
Not as gross as it sounds! Review by Chelsea
You don't actually suck any snot...but using your own lung power seems to get the boogers out way better than the bulb syringe. My 3 month old looks grateful when the snot is out of his nose after using this. I usually always use a saline spray first to make it an even easier process. (Posted on 11/29/2013)
Must Have! Review by Stephanie
This booger sucker is a must! I will never use a bulb syringe again! This thing works GREAT on snotty noses. I use it on my 5 month old and she actually likes it! I also used it on my three year old - he was kind of weirded out by it at first (it was the first time I'd ever used it on him), but he has let me do it a few times since then. This is something I will buy for baby showers from now on. (Posted on 7/23/2013)
