This is a great addition to our musical instrument collection! My 11 month old loves to bang on the xylophone, while our preschooler enjoys playing it while singing. So cute! I love the bright colors and the fact that it is a safe, wooden toy from a trusted company.

We got this for our son's first birthday. It has held up well over the past year, but doesn't get as much play as I would have guessed. I do like that it's really pretty and that the sound it makes is really nice. I wish there was a holder for the mallet. It's hard to keep them together.

I really like having musical instruments for my child to play and the Plan Toys Wooden Xylophone was one of our very first in our collection. I am so glad I got it! All of the wood parts are rounded with no sharp corners, making it safe. The rainbow colors are helpful and held together with flexible string so it bends nicely and creates a pleasant sound when played. It's not as loud and annoying as a metal xylophone, which is really nice.
