I use Sloomb wool exclusively so I use Sloomb lano exclusively. I always try to buy the big jar as it is a much better value per ounce. Every Sloomb product I've ever tried has been high quality, and this lano is no exception. Love it!

Because of the price, I wouldn't recommend this lanolin. I used it to make a pair of wool shorties more water-proof, and I was impressed with the results. About a month later, I was able to purchase a different brand of lanolin for about half the price locally. I used the cheaper brand on the same wool shorties. I had very similar results from both brands, and so I decided to stick with the cheaper stuff!

This is a great product for making any piece of wool a bulletproof night time solution! It easily dissolves in hot water with a little bit of any emulsifying agent. The only downside is that it's one of the more expensive solid lanolins on the market.

I got the 8 oz jar of lanolin, and it is fantastic. Just put a small dollop in a plastic bottle (I use a Medela bottle), fill with super hot water (I just use heated water from the tap), shake until dissolved, and pour into a big bucket/sink of tepid water and swirl it around a bit. Then add clean wool, wait 15 minutes, done! Works very well.
