The Snappi® Diaper Fastener revolutionized cloth diapering! Over 40 million have sold worldwide. It is an EASY to use fastener that offers a practical and reliable way to fasten a cloth diaper, replacing the diaper pin. It comes in a variety of colors and is made from a stretchable non-toxic material, which is T-shaped with grips on each end. These grips hook into the diaper fabric to ensure a snug-fitting diaper with enough natural movement for the baby. Snappi®s WORK BEST with Snappi® terry cloth diapers, cotton prefolds (Chinese or DSQ), and other cloth diapers with a loose enough weave for the Snappi to hook into. They DO NOT work well flannel or any other tightly woven diapers, even most hemp diapers. WARNING: 1. ALWAYS use a cover when using a Snappi® fastener on your baby’s diaper. 2. Keep out of children’s reach when not in use! 3. Do not use your Snappi® for longer than 6 months. 4. Do not leave your Snappi® lying in the sun as it is not UV resistant and can reduce the effectiveness of the Snappi®. CARE: Clean your Snappi® in hot soapy water. Do not launder them with diapers in the washer as this may weaken the grip attachment. CAUTION: Any tear in the Snappi® can lead to separation of a piece, presenting a possible choking hazard. Do not cut your Snappi® as this could create weak spots in your Snappi®. Inspect your Snappi® before each use and discontinue use immediately if there is any sign of cracking, tearing, breakage or wear of the teeth or any other parts. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Snappi® fasteners need to be used correctly in order to work effectively. 1. STRETCH the Snappi® fastener before its first use. The stretching triggers the 'memory' of the Snappi® to return to its original size and in so doing, pulls the diaper together to the middle to allow for a snug fit. This is essential for the Snappi® to work properly. This can be done by holding the Snappi® in the center with one hand and close to the end of the leg with the other hand. Then s-t-r-e-t-c-h a few times (10 or so). As you do this you should feel how the material 'softens' or gets more elastic. Follow this stretching procedure with each leg. The Snappi® is now ready to go! 2. Make sure that the Snappi® is ATTACHED SECURELY. It is important that the Snappi® 'leg' being attached be stretched across the diaper before hooking it into the diaper. So, Hook Left, Stretch ACROSS and Hook Right, Stretch DOWN and Hook Center In other words, the Snappi® fastener should go from a ‘T’ shape to a ‘Y’ shape. By following these instructions, the Snappi® should be secure, the diaper will fit snugly and the baby should not be able to undo it. ALWAYS place a cover over the diaper and Snappi® fastener. The Snappi® fastener is manufactured from FDA approved raw materials, a polyester based polyurethane which is degradable on aging through hydrolysis and/or microbiological attack. It contains NO latex or any other adulterant, dilutent or modifying polymers. The composition is 100% polyurethane. It is made in South Africa.

Has a great hold and no problem using it. It's quick and easy and comes in nice colors. I bought the snappi because my son was a heavy night time wetter and I needed you use the prefolds to hold on all that pee. The snappi works great holding the prefolds in place. (Posted on 3/25/2016)

I can't believe how many prefolds I used on my daughter before discovering these! They really do a great job at making the prefold able to hold everything in like a fitted or contour diaper does. I HATED pins, which I used for maybe a week on my oldest daughter before I decided to just 'pad fold' my prefolds inside covers and not use a closure. When I was gifted a snappi, I saw how much better prefolds worked when you can 'close them' around the baby, and I was hooked! They are worth the price in my opinion! (Posted on 8/22/2015)

I am new to cloth diapering and was so against prefolds at first because they seamed so old fashioned and I remember listening to all the complaints from my parents generation on how awful those diaper pins were to use. Then I learned about the snappi! Now I love our prefolds! Such an inexpensive way to cloth diaper, and the snappi makes it even better! They are so easy to use! Can't say enough good about them! I would recommend the snappi to anyone! (Posted on 7/3/2015)

It took me a few tries to master how to use these. But once I figured it out, they work great. Something that I don't know if people know this, but the odd flexible loop on top of the hook is actually a cover for the sharp plastic teeth. You slip it over and you won't get hurt by them. Pretty neat! (Posted on 4/27/2015)

I use mostly pocket diapers, but a friend of mine gave me some prefolds as a baby gift. I bought some of these to go with them. Such a great invention! (Posted on 3/30/2015)

i am a huge fan of a flat & snappie, by far the easiest way to cloth diaper my daughter, have used one for about 10 months and the loop just popped, so I thought I would order a few to keep on hand (Posted on 3/26/2015)
No more leaks! Review by Alesha

I decided to try the Snappi as per the advice of another cloth diapering mom when I told her how many leaks we wrte having at night. I bought the size 1 Snappis and they work out great (also, our daughter is 13 months old and 22 lbs). I use the largest size GroVia bamboo prefold, secure it with a Snappi, then cover it in either a Flip cover or one of our Best Bottom covers. We have not had a leak since purchasing and using the Snappi. So happy that there is a solution for heavy wetters that has worked for us!! (Posted on 2/16/2015)

I have never tried pins but I think these are amazing. They are so easy to use and hold on really well to prefolds. I have had mine for several months and haven't had any problem with wear, it still works perfectly. (Posted on 9/19/2014)

Quick and easy Review by D.J.

It took a couple of tries to get the hang of using a Snappi, but once you get it, they are quick and easy to use. They can be a little bit scratchy when not attached, but the pokes are no where near as bad as pins. Snappis don't get a prefold as tight as using pins, but with a well fitting cover, a slightly looser hold wasn't an issue. (Posted on 5/3/2014)

I had pins as a child and wasn't looking forward to them with my daughter. Found the snappis and still on the first one and my daughter is 8 months old. My only complaint is I got one stuck in the rug and it cut me really bad when I pulled on it trying to pick it up. Still using them and loving them. (Posted on 2/9/2014)

I love the snappis that I have since they do keep the prefolds or snapless diapers in place. But they do tend to break if not handled correctly. (Posted on 1/15/2014)

Easy to use, stays in place. My husband and I got a little scratched up until we got the hang of pulling the snaps but they do grip tightly and securely. Held the prefolds in place and once covered, LO is safe from pulling it off. (Posted on 3/22/2013)
Great idea at first, bought but don't use Review by Kelsi

I'm not such a huge fan. These seemed to wear out quickly on my large, chubby, wiggly baby. They never seemed to hold the diaper tight enough, now matter how hard I tried. We opted for pins. Once you get the hang, they don't break, are cheaper and DEFINITELY more secure. Snappis are cute (and they don't draw blood, granted!) but in hindsight, not worth it... (Posted on 9/28/2011)
Added expense to prefold diapering Review by Rebekah

I couldn't justify buying more Snappis. Pins don't need replacing at least every six months. My husband broke ours in the first week too. We went with prefolds to keep diapering costs to a minimum and Snappis are an overpriced alternative to good old pins. We got six pins for $1 versus $3 for one Snappi. I also found that with a wiggly baby the pins stay put, but the Snappi doesn't stay nearly as secure. Hope you appreciate another perspective. (Posted on 8/23/2011)

They can last up to 6 months. Did I say I Love these?! (Posted on 8/17/2011)

Flat diaper routine is cotton prefold, Snappi, Flip diaper cover. They are safe, secure, and easy. My mom loves that they prevent the diaper droop babies used to have with pinned diapers. One broke after only a month's use, but another is nearly 5 months old and still perfectly functional. (Posted on 8/5/2010)

When I 1st started cloth I used all snap diapers since I was afraid of pins. I discovered the snappi when it came with a fitted diaper that I was going to have snaps added to. I am now in love with it since you get so much better a fit than using snaps. (Posted on 5/2/2010)
