These work really well for holding flats or prefolds on your baby. I haven't really found a material they don't grip. They have little teeth to grip that are remarkably sharp, so don't let your baby play with them. They take a bit of practice but once you've perfected them, they're a dream. My only issue is that they disappear, like socks in a dryer. I have no idea where they go, but they do dissapear. A 3 Pack is totally necessary!

I love my snappies! They work much better than boingos. And of course, safer than traditional pins. Plus they are so cute with fun colors! Also, TGN has them for the lowest price.

When my mother in law heard about us using cloth, she shared her concern about us using safety pins to fasten the diapers. We explained we wouldn't be using pins and that snappis are made of plastic. The teeth grips our GMD prefolds wonderfully and the elastic rubber stretches easily for a custom fit for baby. Highly reccommend if you plan on using prefolds.
